Thunder claps in the back ground as Shun gaped at what beholds in front of her.

The Ocean. Water. Lots of it.

The Espurr gulps. Like most Cat Pokemon, they hate getting wet because it made their fur all fuzzy but for the Espurr, the fear of drowning is what worries her the most. It had happened before in her childhood. Drowning. She was drowning. In a large pond. When she was just 7. It’s thanks to Yuu who had saved her back then. He inflate himself after catching her underwater, due to being the Balloon Pokémon, he quickly rises up above the surface.

That memory still remains. The Trauma of drowning. Just that sinking feeling, getting deeper and deeper into the water. Within the days that follow that incident, young Shun has reoccurring nightmares about drowning again.

Shun shakes her head, trying to let that horrible memory fade from her mind. Around her the Guild members are getting ready for something that which Shun had missed as she was busy looking into her childhood memories. Yagami was the one to discuss with the Pokemon that they had met earlier when they arrived which is when Shun notices they were by the Sea.

The Pokemon was a Carracosta. Shun had never met one of those before in all her delivery trips to nearby villages. It’s probably due to being a water type Pokemon and that it lives near water which Shun never get close to ever since the incident years back.

“Shun-san, are you alright?”

Ohruha’s voice came behind Shun whose taken by surprised when Ohruha came up from behind her, “Uh…sort of. Ya know the Ocean…and all…” Shun replied, a little nervous. The Marshstomp nods, “Oh yeah, I see. You’re a Cat Pokemon right?”  Shun nods but it’s mostly due to her fear of drowning but she didn’t want anyone to know of that since it’ll be very much a burden if she had told them so she just keep mum about it.

“So, who’s the Carracosta?” Shun asks the Marshstomp. Ohruha’s expression brightens slightly as she clears her throat, “Can you believe it? He’s Urashima Taro! I heard about him a lot when I was a kid and he’s actually here!” she said excitedly. “Really?! I thought that he’s a legend...ya know a Myth! ~ “, the Espurr exclaimed sharing Ohruha’s amazement.

A few moments later, the Carracosta apparently known as Urashima Taro and Yagami had finished their conversation then proceed to inform the group about what they had planned and what Urashima Taro has planned for them.

As their leader explained, Shun wondered how they will get to the Dragon Palace as they’re by the Ocean! It can’t be that…

“…we’ll be diving into the Ocean with Urashima Taro-sama’s help as the Dragon Palace was well suited underwater.”

Shun froze. ’Underwater? The Palace is underwater?!’ Although Shun remained calm, she gulped as, in her mind, she was panicking. Thinking that what if she drowned again? What will happen then? Shun shakes her head away from the suspense and apprehension of that, once again, haunting memory. ’ Sazanami’s fate is more important!’ she assured herself, clutching her tiny paws.

“Rest assured those who can’t breathe underwater, including myself will be assisted by Urashima Taro-sama here by providing us with Oxygen filled Bubbles to enable us to breathe underwater and reach the Palace.” Yagami nods assuring the group especially the little Espurr. “He will lead us there, so without much further ado, let’s be off to the Dragon Palace.” He added then leads the None Water type members in a line including Shun to be given the Bubble by Urashima Taro. The Water type members ready themselves by entering the cold ocean water, awaiting their comrades.

Shun was the last to be given a bubble which is big enough to reach her shoulders. Once she touches it, it feels soft and plushy, which reminded her of Yuu whose pretty much a Plushy little Jigglypuff.

The members with the bubble filled oxygen entered the ocean. They get some help from their water type comrades to stabilize themselves in the mild currents. Once Urashima Taro went inside, he leads the way towards the Dragon Palace. Some members hold onto his shell and some others follow within both sides.

The Espurr was cautious not to let the bubble pop somehow although it was explained that it’s a special Bubble that won’t pop. Now that she’s underwater, she tightly holds onto the Marshstomps’ Head fin as she swam near the end of the group As Marshtomps move a lot faster in mud than in water but nonetheless she’s still a Water type.

The group was lead across vast coral forests of all shapes and sizes. Their color varies from each other which made the Ocean floor literally colorful. Various Water Pokemon either watch the group went by, swam near them or even greet them as they cross the Ocean floor. A Remoraid school went through the group and Shun manages to poke one that stopped in front of her. It squeaked and swam away, following its school.

The group reached a large rocky arc that stretches near the surface and went through one of its caves. Some Krabby and Octilery greeted as they came. Further up the cave, some lights were seen as a few Chinchous rests along the rocky surface of the cave, providing some light for the travelers.

 When the group reaches the exit of the cave they went through an extra large Seaweed forest dancing in the water currents.  The Espurr gently touches the long sea weed as they pass just as when a shadow overwhelms the group. Shun glances up and saw a large Wailord swimming above, passing them. She watches the large creature pass by, completely in awe and feeling as small as ever beside the large whale Pokemon.

After encountering a Mantine group swimming above a few large boulders, they finally reached the Dragon Palace.

The Palace was literally glowing as it’s mostly made of crystals and smaller ones surrounding the vicinity. Large corals and various Sea shells jewel and pearls decorated the Palace adding to its magnificence. After which they reached the entrance of the Palace, they saw a crowd of mainly water type Pokemon awaiting their arrival.

The Group landed softly after Urashima Taro. The group of water Pokémon move slightly to make room for the travelers.

Almost immediately a soft chime sounded through the room and all the Water Pokémon surrounding them dipped into a bow indicating the Princess’ arrival. Shun glances skywards and saw a large Milotic swimming down with her escorts side by side.

When she landed, Shun was once again in awe. The Princess was elegantly dressed with royal ornaments indicating her status as the Princess of the Dragon Palace. Shun immediately bow before her as does the rest of the guild members including Urashima Taro and Yagami.

Her gentle gaze caught the Pokemon before her after they rise from their courtesy.

“Welcome to the Dragon Palace friends from the surface. I am Otohime. I thank you all for providing a much needed assistance in these dire tidings.” said the Princess he voice as silky and gentle. Yagami steps up, “Your highness,” he bows slightly then once again looks up at the Milotic Princess,” After receiving your request, we have carefully chosen those that are suitable for the task at hand.”  

Otohime nodded, “Yes,” she scanned over the group, “The party that which you hold has a much higher rate in succession and with the numbers, increases that possibility.” The Milotic Princess held’s out an object that which Shun could determine was the Tidal Bell.

The Elegant bell slightly chimed in the room which indicates that the bell was the one chiming during the Princess’ entrance earlier, “This Tidal Bell, I had always kept it with me. It is much needed for the awakening of my Father.” She then dismisses the surrounding water Pokémon that surrounds the group and mentions for the group to come follow her. Her escorts, A Kingdra and a Seadra follow along. “On the altar of the Moon Cave is where you which have to place the Bell in order to awake him.” She said as she leads the group along the halls of the Dragon Palace.

Shun listens intently as they went. The crystal like walls and ceilings were astounding for the small Espurr. “The Moon Cave is not far from here,” she assured then added, “but it’s across dangerous waters for which is where your obstacle roams.”

Otohime led the group into a large room near at the back and bottom of the Dragon Palace. There Shun can see the vast open sea for miles and miles. There’s small amount of Corals and rocks to obscure them which would prove to be a disadvantage. There was no horizon or light available and the currents of the area seemed to move very fast. There is however, a shadow silhouette of a rocky formation that could be the Moon Cave from across the expense of underwater grounds.

“All of you noble saviors must be extra cautious. My Brother had made this area his territory for when he had return in a completely abnormal state of mind and had changed forms drastically.” She signs, “I will stay here, to guard the palace from being attacked by my brother.”

She then lowers her tail and hands Yagami the Tidal Bell, “Choose wisely over who will bring the Bell for my Brother is drawn to its power. He will attack anyone who possesses it including me which was the reason why I can’t go bring it myself.”

“We will your highness” Yagami nodded to the Milotic Princess.

“There is also one that I could provide for you which is the pathway to the Cave ahead. I have created it with the help of my Tidal jewel. It can provide assistance to those not able to scour these wild waters.” The Princess gestures towards the Ground in front of them where the path way laid out among the corals and rocks.

Shun looked over at the pathway, it seemed stable although the waves brush up against it, “However, it may or may not be able to hold on long. It uses most of my energy to surpass the currents, keep in mind that it will somehow break apart by not just the currents but by my brother, the Prince. He’ll go on a rampage once he senses the Tidal Jewel’s presence and will stop at nothing to obtain it” the Princess warns them for the final time before exiting for her chamber and the Prayer room where she will utmost shield the Palace as well as uphold her control over the pathway’s security.

Shun breathes in and out, now with the pathway filled oxygen helping them cross over the area, she could have a slight sense of relief but still keeping in mind of what the Princess had just warned them.

As a precaution, Yagami commanded those none water types to keep intact their oxygen bubbles. Once again, those chosen go out into the water area and those inside the pathway will escort the one who’ll be carrying the Bell, Shun joined them along with Ohruha and several other, mainly those with the water bubbles. The one carrying the Tidal bell was a Golduck. Those outside; a Gorebyss, Dewgong, Frogaider, and a Buizel acts as the guards and prepares to strike any that will impose as a threat to their comrades in the pathway.

Yagami along with the other members stays behind by the room’s entrance. If danger ensues and the numbers decreases, they will step up and help the others to either get back or fight alongside.

’It all starts here, there’s no turning back’ clutching her tiny paws, Shun gets ready and was now on the ground of the pathway alongside Ohruha and the others, leading the group; the Golduck nods to his comrades preparing himself. Their water type comrade all stands by above them.

With a wave from their leader, the group head onwards towards the Moon cave.
